Hello! I’m Neil and I’ve been based in New York City since 2015. I studied at The Juilliard School for Historical Performance on bassoon and while I don’t play much these days since I now work in tech, I try to sneak in an opportunity to if it comes up.

I occasionally do a bit of calligraphy, taking the odd class or two. My main focus was on copperplate with a little bit of flourishing with a pointed pen.

Most of my free time these days is spent on ceramics, mainly with a focus on functional ceramics as I try to find the shapes and objects that I myself use on a daily basis. I try to also incorporate a lot of influence from calligraphic flourishes in my designs.
